Our client is a global player in the automotive industry. The project for which we are recruiting a senior Internet consultant is the management of the development of new functionalities for their pan-European website, as well as management of the technical platform for our client’s ongoing leading edge Interactive Marketing programmes.
The successful candidate will quickly understand our client’s business challenges and marketing strategies. This understanding, combined with solid project management skills and an in-depth understanding of modern Digital marketing and web technologies will enable him/her to:
Work with client’s suppliers to design and drive the deployment of new and enhanced website functionalities (for example car configurator, finance calculator etc)
Provide strategic technical advice to client, select, work with and challenge partners on technical decisions. Supervise and manage developments to platforms ensuring current and future business needs are catered for.
Take ownership of the integration of customer and prospect data between the digital platform, customer databases and other systems. Liaise between external suppliers and internal IT/IS functions.
Ensure a continuous and effective dialogue and promote collaboration with CRM and Customer Loyalty departments. Define and implement a cross-functional strategy to support customer relationship management online.
Pro-actively identify needs and possibilities for Digital to add value to the business and generate revenue. Champion ideas, develop business cases and sell projects to management.
Analyse, assess and coordinate the needs of different European countries in relation to platform functionalities and architecture.
The senior consultant will report to the Equancy Partner in charge of our client and will be located in the client’s office in the Paris area. Planned travels across Europe.
