GENESIS


Eight years ago, a group of 3 people from different backgrounds within the marketing and communication business got together and decided to combine their experience and create a new type of consulting service for the market.


Jean-Paul Lafaye
, a career-long communication expert, Eric Cholet and Paul Bouchayer shared a common vision. 
Making efficient decisions in marketing and communication had become increasingly challenging for any organization in the age of globalization, Internet and customer empowerment. 
Traditional approaches were no longer relevant when faced with the complexity of the new economy. 
Finding the right solution to a problem required a combination of the finest expertise in each field of marketing and communication. Solutions needed to be pragmatic, efficient, measurable and implementable.

The group reasoned that the only way to craft these solutions was to bring together in the same company top experts on complementary disciplines, capable of working together and combining their expertise on any given subject to create unique customized client solutions. 
That is how they created Equancy, bearing the ambition to build it into a strong international consulting company, offering a unique multi-disciplinarian approach.

BUILDING EXPERTISE

Charlotte Weill was the first to come on board. Passionate about being part of a new adventure, she enriched the team with her web strategy expertise.

Didier Richaudeau was a tough one to bring in, and his arrival was a breakthrough in the chain of events that built the company: his know-how opened a new dimension of analysis and customer understanding to our work. 

Bertrand De La Selle created a sizable impact by reviving our internet expertise once again and bringing new insight to our approach.

Caroline Ollivier was chosen for her top expertise in both branding and innovation strategies. 

Patrick Lorrain, a career-long finance professional in the international Advertising world, was called in to help orchestrate the growing business of Equancy.

Hervé Mignot brought to the team his expertise in computer science and information systems.

The Equancy team came to understand that brands could no longer be managed only in a commercial entity and that their corporate dimension was becoming increasingly important in the Internet age. 

Robert Zarader, a Phd in economics and top corporate communication expert, joined the team to bring a corporate dimension to our approach to brands and organizations.

Grégoire Biasini, a Sciences-Po graduate, shortly followed to enrich furthermore Equancy’s corporate communication network and expertise.

, a graduate from both Fudan university and HEC and a Chinese business expert with a strong experience in Europe opened our office in China.

David Butter
, an expert on consulting and coaching for many years, chairs our branch in London.
